After making selections in the numbers next to each area, you can see how satisfied you are with the fundamental areas of your life. This helps you find your focus and know where to start. Focus on one area at a time, because working in multiple directions simultaneously makes it harder to reach your goal. By improving that area through various methods, you can increase your score in that area and feel more satisfied.

When you're satisfied with one area, you can move on to the next lower-scoring area. Ultimately, we find balance in our lives, which will eventually balance our weight as we no longer need food to satisfy ourselves. Meeting our needs is crucial. Loving yourself requires understanding your own needs. There may be unmet needs in your life, and this is vital for your self-communication. Here are some important questions you need to ask yourself. If the answer to these questions is no, then how will you meet those needs? 1. Do you feel accepted by others? 2. Do you feel like you are growing and learning? 3. Do you feel healthy? 4. Do you feel safe? 5. Are you free enough? 6. Do you feel respected? 7. Do you feel like you are enjoying life? 8. Do you feel loved? 9. Do you feel supported? 10. Are you striving to be creative?

If your answer to all these questions is no, then you need to take some time to consider what you truly want in life so that you can feel your needs are being met. You can create positive self-affirmations by stating things like: Doing this will make me feel accepted. Doing this will help me grow and learn. Doing this will make me feel healthier. Doing this will make me feel safe. Doing this will make me feel free. Doing this will make me feel respected. Doing this will help me enjoy life more. Doing this will make me feel loved. Doing this will make me feel supported. Doing this will make me feel more creative. By stating these desires in a positive tone, we can allow them to enter our lives. Because positive self-affirmations allow us to view our needs in a positive way.

This leverages the power of the subconscious mind, which only responds to positive cues. Refer to the example in parentheses to complete the blanks below, creating your own positive cues. Your positive cues: I am grateful (e.g., I learned something) Now I am (achieving my goal). If you want to focus on weight, you can also say: "I am very grateful that I am now healthy, happy, and have reached my ideal weight." Or, fill in the blanks below: I am very grateful that I am now... and... Remember, it's best not to have more than three needs at a time. And, use the same positive cues for as long as possible; don't abandon these needs. It should be noted that positive cues are always in the present tense. For example, if we tell ourselves we will get it, our subconscious mind will believe it will happen at some point in the future.

This is like the old saying, "Never rely on tomorrow." Our minds only have today. So remember to be positive, patient, and live in the present. Confidence is also crucial. Once you've identified your positive affirmation, you can read it aloud to yourself twice a day (morning and before bed), imagining and believing that you've already fulfilled those needs. You must have positive feelings about these affirmations for them to be positive. Giving yourself a positive affirmation before bed is a great method because it helps it seep into your subconscious during sleep. You can also write your affirmations on sticky notes and place them where you can see them every day (for example, in your car or on the bathroom mirror).
