Reconnecting with your true self: rediscovering your inner child and the power to live in the present moment.

Finally, we must learn to let go, to love and nourish ourselves in this way, only then can we successfully control our weight and maintain our health. By doing so, we not only help ourselves, but also gain the strength and ability to help those around us, allowing us all to work together to achieve all goals, including successful weight loss. By communicating with ourselves and learning to let go, we will find a healthy balance. Reconnect with yourself. The reason I've been able to maintain a controlled weight throughout my life is because I treat myself with the same kindness I show to others every day. When we were children, we were fearless. Those were days of running, jumping, playing, and enjoying life to the fullest. In childhood, we have vibrant imaginations. However, as we grow into adulthood, we seem to lose all of that.

That feeling of freedom and imagination brings us joy, allows us to enjoy life, and gives us hope for accomplishment. As we grow up, we lose touch with our inner child. This lack of connection makes us want to fill that once full space with food. But these things can never truly fill that empty space. Loving and enjoying food is important, but loving ourselves is even more important. The Bible says, "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." In today's society, we can also understand it as "love yourself as you love your neighbor." But people are overwhelmed by busy lives; they simply don't have time to attend to their own needs and desires. They are unaware that they must reconnect with their inner selves and heal themselves. Only then will everything return to normal.

We should periodically re-examine our lives. Is your plate overflowing? This isn't just about the amount of food you're eating, but also the amount of things you're bringing into your life. You can start by making a list. Is everything you spend time doing truly worthwhile? Sometimes we get caught up in things that are simply a waste of time, time that could be used for more beneficial things, like things we enjoy. Regarding dieting, we need to stop exploiting our bodies because it ultimately harms our inner selves. It's time to stop the "fight" and regain our natural balance. Only then can we find inner peace, be content with ourselves, and our weight will naturally balance out.

Many of the methods mentioned in this book boil down to one fundamental concept: fully loving and respecting yourself. Only then can we focus our attention on finding balance in our lives. Only by boosting our self-esteem can we find the strength to accomplish tasks, whether it's losing weight or any other goal. Most importantly, communicating with ourselves prevents us from filling ourselves with food due to feelings of emptiness. To communicate with ourselves, living in the present moment is crucial. Even if your schedule is very busy, you can still carve out time to enjoy the scenery, sounds, and atmosphere of the world around you. Look up at the beauty of the sky; listen to the birds singing; admire the delicate beauty of the flowers. Even in winter, you can discover the beauty of the shimmering white snow.

When you take a break from work or whatever you're busy with, spend time with yourself. Keep a journal, enjoy a good book, and feel connected to the world around you, realizing that everything in the world is connected in some way. You are a part of this vast and beautiful universe. Think of it this way: the chair you are sitting in now is connected to the earth (or to the building, and the building is connected to the earth), and the earth is connected to crops, trees, animals, oceans, mountains, and the entire planet. You are not alone, but connected to everything. Our possessions, along with everything in this universe, are in flux. The houses we live in and other things we "own" are temporary. But our inner selves are eternal. This is the only possession we can call our own. Therefore, we can be our own best friends.
